Deposits in AGBank and NBC Bank to be returned in stages starting next month

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The day of the insured event in AGBank and NBC Bank is set for 28 April 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) has distributed information about the return of deposits.

The deposits places in both banks will be compensated in accordance with the Law on Full Deposit Insurance.

The compensations will be returned in two stages.

Thus, starting from 16 June 2020 AGBank and NBC Bank will pay compensation for deposits in the equivalent of up to AZN 30,000 (including AZN 30,000). Starting from 15 July 2020 it is planned to pay compensation for deposits of more than AZN 30,000.
