Bank adequacy indicators in Azerbaijan are at a satisfactory level

June 1, Fineko/abc.az. Elman Rustamov, the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, noted that the capitalization of some banks in Azerbaijan is still low.

ABC.AZ reports that regarding the details of this issue, Rustamov underlined that their capital adequacy is at a normal level.

"Even some of them are in the process of capitalization, and they fulfill their obligations. Once again I repeat that their adequacy indicators are at a satisfactory level. The Central Bank controls the process of their capitalization, monitors the schedule of capital growth and helps them complete the capitalization process on time, before the end of the year," Rustamov said.
