Iranian minister asked for help from Azerbaijan to solve some problems

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. Farhad Dejpasand, Iranian Economy & Finance Minister and co-chair of the Iran-Azerbaijan State Commission on Economic Cooperation, called Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister and co-chair of the bilateral commission Shahin Mustafayev.

ABC AZ informs with reference to news agency Report that this was reported by the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The Iranian minister invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to visit Iran and expressed a hope that the 14th meeting of the joint Economic Commission could be held in Tehran in the near future.

Farhad Dejpasand touched upon the latest joint projects between the two countries within the framework of the North-South Corridor, the construction of an industrial town near the border in Bilasuvar, a number of problems faced by drivers of Iranian transit trucks when crossing the border, and asked for assistance from Shahin Mustafayev in solving the problem.

"The issues raised by the Iranian side on joint projects were discussed separately with the responsible persons of the relevant authorities, and we’ll try to complete these projects as soon as possible as a result of close cooperation with each other," Mustafayev underlined.
