Oil prices keep on drop after last week’s decline, and Brent fall to $40.15 a barrel

June 29, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are falling in Monday’s trading amid the data about a new wave of COVID-19 disease growth in the world.

By 9:10 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for August fell by $0.87 (2.12%) to $40.15 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 June the Brent futures for August fell in price by $0.03 (0.07%) to $41.02 per barrel.

By 9:10 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for August fell in price by $0.71 (1.84%) to $37.78 per barrel. Following the trading on 26 June the value of WTI contracts for August decreased by $0.23 (0.6%) to $38.49 per barrel.
