69 bank branches closed in Azerbaijan

July 27, Fineko/abc.az. 1,060 people have lost their jobs in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the year.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the report of the Central Bank.

The reason for this is the closure of four banks (Atabank, Amrahbank, NBC Bank and AG Bank) in April and May of this year. As a result of the termination of those banks, 69 bank branches and 16 bank branches have been closed in the country.

While from the end of March 2018 to the end of March of this year, the number of bank employees has constantly increased by 2,300 and reached 19,757 people.
