Recently-appointed Consul General in Istanbul was an ANS employee

July 28, Fineko/abc.az. In accordance with the relevant presidential decree Narmina Elsever gizi Mustafayeva has been appointed Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul.

ABC.AZ reports with a link to Modern.az that previously Mustafayeva worked as a journalist. So, in the late 90s - early 2000s, she worked as a correspondent on ex-TV channel ANS and was the host of the program Xeberchi.

At that time, the TV journalist was named Rustamova, and later worked in the Protocol Service of the Presidential Administration. After marriage, Narmina took surname Mustafayeva.

In 2016-2020 the term of diplomatic service of Consul General Masim Hajiyev of Azerbaijan in Istanbul expired.
