August 7, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev's task concerning the issuing of lump-sum payments in the amount of 190 manats for the unemployed on 13 cities and districts where special quarantine regime is in effect will be implemented as soon as possible and these payments will be given in the coming days.

ABC.AZ reports that such a statement was made by Minister of Labor & Social Protection Sahil Babayev at a briefing.

He noted that AZN 53 million will be spent on these payments to cover 278,000 unemployed and informally working poor people who lost their jobs within the special quarantine regime in the cities of Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingachevir, Sumgait, Yevlakh and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygel, Khachmaz, and Salyan districts.

"Thus, during the COVID-19 period the total amount of funds allocated for the lump-sum payment program will reach AZN 333 million," the minister emphasized.
