Nakhchivan generated 193.2 million kWh of electricity for Jan-Jun

August 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 6 months of this year 193.2 million kWh of electricity were generated and transferred to the system at the power plants of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

This means that 99.4 million kWh or 51.5% of the energy was generated at hydroelectric power plants, 74.1 million kWh or 38.30% at thermal power plants, and 19.7 million kWh or 10.2% at solar power plants.

ABC.AZ was informed on the occasion at the NAR State Energy Service.

For Jan-Jun 2020 the NAR generated 119.1 million kWh of electricity and transferred to the system using alternative and renewable energy sources. This makes up 61.66% of the total energy transmitted to the system.
