September 8, Fineko/abc.az. The drilling of new subartesian wells has been launched in the villages of Terter and Barda districts of Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ was informed at national water operator Azersu.

Subartesian wells will be drilled in each of the villages of Ismailbeyli, Sarov and Sahlabad of Terter district and Khankhanimli, Ikinji Nazirli and Kelentarli of Barda district.

A decision was made to use underground water to provide the villagers with safe drinking water.

In addition, drilling of a subartesian well was started in Khankhanimli village of Barda district.

Within the framework of projects implemented in the Terter and Barda districts, the water operator plans to improve water supply in six villages with the population of up to 9,000 residents and ensure needs for irrigation water.
