September 29, Fineko/abc.az. Spontaneous evacuation of residents has begun in Khankendi, ABC.AZ informs with reference a journalist of Russian newspaper Izvestia in Khankendi.

The Russian reporter says that migrants are being sent en masse to Yerevan.

"According to the data, the resettlement of people from Khankendi is carried out by the authorities of Yerevan. Sending of the fleeing persons from Khankendi to Yerevan happens spontaneously. They send them straight away, they don't know any relatives or anything. But they say that they will definitely be met there. The authorities in Yerevan will organize their transportation. Not necessarily by buses. The police stop passing cars whose drivers take those fleeing families free of charge to Yerevan. This shows that the officials of the unrecognized Nagorno Karabakh have lost their heads,” the Russian journalist said.
