November 3, Fineko/abc.az. At the recently-finished briefing Assistant to the President Hikmet Hajiyev brought words of President Ilham Aliyev that international community’s support for Azerbaijan is the result of diplomatic relationships built over many years, ABC.AZ reports.

Hajiyev noted that Armenia has started an information war against Azerbaijan.

"In response, President Aliyev gave more than 24 interviews to international and reputable media from 27 September to 2 November. Some interviews lasted one or two hours. Thus, President Aliyev brought Azerbaijani truths to the world. The Armenian leadership is trying to imitate our president.

During interviews President Aliyev was asked provocative questions. Despite this, the Azerbaijani leader respected the freedom of the media and answered all questions. Media organizations that fairly and objectively cover the just struggle of Azerbaijan in the world press are under pressure from the Armenian lobby and are even threatened by physical destroying of journalists.”
