Fine to be taken for not wearing face masks in the open air

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is to fine for not wearing face masks in the amount of 100 manats.

The relevant decree was signed today by Prime Minister Ali Asadov.

ABC.AZ reports that the decree says that in order to prevent the mass spread of coronavirus infection (Cocid-19) on the territory of Azerbaijan, in public places in the open air, the use of personal respiratory protection equipment (medical mask, fabric mask, respirator, etc) is mandatory.

Violation of these requirements entails liability established by the Code of Administrative Offences.
