February 19, Fineko/abc.az. A Public Council has been established under the Baku Transport Agency (BNA).

ABC.AZ reports that the Public Council consists of nine members representing transport experts and NGOs, as well as representatives of the public.

Noting the importance of creating the Public Council, the chairman of the Council, Vusal Kerimli, said that this is an indicator of the importance that the Agency attaches to strengthening transparency, openness and public control in its activities.

The Public Council will be an advisory body that will organize consultations to discuss various issues in the field of urban transport, make proposals to the Agency for State Policy in this area and has other rights defined by law.
