February 19, Fineko/abc.az. As of 18 February the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund (ADIF) paid compensations AZN 623.3 million to 24,419 depositors of closed banks AG Bank, Amrah Bank, NBC Bank and Ata Bank.

From 16 June 2020 to 18 February 2021, ADIF’s authorized agent International Bank of Azerbaijan compensated for AZN 240.63 million to the depositors of AG Bank (AZN 111.4 million to 4,666 depositors) and NBC Bank (AZN 129.22 million to 4,204 depositors), which are in the process of liquidation, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the ADIF.

From 1 June 2020 to 18 February 2021, AID’s another agent Kapital Bank paid more than AZN 382.66 million of compensation to depositors of Amrah Bank (AZN 139.74 million to 5,794 depositors) and Ata Bank (AZN 242.91 million to 9,755 depositors).

Giving of compensations by the ADIF to the depositors of the four closed banks is approaching to the end.
