June 3, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has attended the inauguration of the newly renovated 110/35/6 kV “Binagadi” substation owned by AzerEnergy in Binagadi district of Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that AzerEnergy’s president Baba Rzayev informed the head of state of the work done at the substation.

It was noted that the term of operation of “Binagadi” substation, built in 1952, has expired twice. This led to an increase in technological losses, various emergencies, short circuits, and power outages to consumers. Now this substation has been completely reconstructed and equipped with modern automation systems. As part of the work carried out here, a new Control Center was built. It is equipped with modern microprocessor-type digital control systems, security and automation, a local micro-SCADA system was installed and the substation management was fully digitized.
