June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2021 Azerbaijan exported 1.372 bn cu m of natural gas for $288.59 million to the European Union.

ABC.AZ reports that according to calculations based on data from the State Customs Committee and the State Statistics Committee, this year Azerbaijan exported natural gas to three EU countries - Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.

For the past 5 months of 2021 Azerbaijan exported 1.15 bn cu m of natural gas for $243.643 million to Italy, 127.819 million cu m for $32.775 million to Greece, 91.999 million cu m for $12.174 million to Bulgaria.

Last year, gas exports from the EU countries were carried out only to Greece. In 2021, Azerbaijan increased gas exports to Greece by 12.3 times.
