Innovations related to securities in Azerbaijan

September 20, Fineko/abc.az. From now on, more than one investment company will be able to jointly offer underwriting services for the placement (issue) of securities in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the changes to the Procedure of investment services (operations) by investment companies, approved by the Central Bank on 31 August 2021. The document entered into force on 16 September.

The Central Bank considers that this change will consolidate the underwriting capabilities of investment companies and increase the total amount of the issue.
