Azerbaijan unveils number of people employed in foreign trade

September 21, Fineko/abc.az. The number of people engaged in import and export is growing in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that for the past 8 months of 2021 the quantity of participants in foreign trade reached 45,390 people (12,476 more against Jan-Aug 2020 – 32,563 people).

The number of foreign trade participants who are legal entities increased from 559 people up to 7,630 people, the number of individuals participating in foreign trade increased from 11,917 up to 37,409 people.

In 2020, the number of foreign trade participants amounted to 45,462, including 37,211 individuals and 8,251 legal entities.
