October 12, Fineko/abc.az. In the coming years the construction of 10 reservoirs is planned in various districts of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that deputy chairman of Melioration & Water Management OJSC Rafig Aslanov said this at the 1st German-Azerbaijani Stability Forum 2021 held in Baku.

According to Aslanov, the feasibility study and design of new reservoirs will be ready this year and in subsequent years.

"Most likely, the construction of the Yengidja and Alinjachai reservoirs will be started from the beginning of next year," Aslanov noted.

According to the deputy chair, the construction of the remaining reservoirs will be started from 2023, this process will be carried out at the expense of state funds.
