Five banks in Azerbaijan observe decline in assets

November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The assets of five out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan as of 1 October of this year turned out less year-on-year.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Premium Bank OJSC, Xalq Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank, AFB Bank, the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.
The largest decrease was recorded on AFB Bank (50.2%) and the least on Premium Bank (2.2%).
The assets of the remaining 21 banks increased. The highest dynamics was registered on Nakhchivan Bank OJSC (30.5%) and the lowest on the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran (0.3%).
