12:55 - 16.11.2021

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. Our country, which partially recovered from the shock of the coronavirus pandemic in 2021 after rather difficult 2020 from socio-economic angle, is currently demonstrating steady growth rate. ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated this at the plenary session of the parliament. He noted that country's GDP will fully restore by the end of this year.

Sharifov believes that this strengthens the opinion that economic development will take place in 2022, and significant financial opportunities will appear.
"Over the first 9 months of this year Azerbaijan’s GDP grew by 4.8% (against Jan-Sept 2020), and the non-oil sector by 6.2%. And the value of our foreign trade turnover increased by 30% in annual comparison and reached $20.1 bn. As a result, positive balance of $5.1 bn was achieved in foreign trade," the minister emphasized.
