Family members of martyrs and war invalids to be provided with tax benefits

November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The proposed package of amendments to the Tax Code has already been submitted to Milli Majlis.
 
ABC.AZ reports that according to the proposed amendments to the legislation, one of the proposals aimed at reducing the tax burden of the population through social benefits is the exemption from income tax of part of the material assistance provided to family members of martyrs and military personnel whose disability was established as a result of military operations conducted in the name of freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the amount of up to 10,000 manats.
 
Part of the cost of gifts, financial assistance to pay for education or treatment, lump-sum allowance of up to 1,000 manats is exempt from income tax, and this exemption applies to all individuals receiving financial assistance, regardless of social status.
