President took part in opening of Balajari Locomotive Depot

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The opening of a new locomotive depot in Balajari of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) has taken place.
 
ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening ceremony. ADY’s chairman Javid Gurbanov informed the country’s president about the conditions created in the new Balajari Locomotive Depot.
 
It was noted that works on technical inspection and repair of locomotives will be carried out in the new depot. Commissioning of the depot, established in Azerbaijan for the first time on the CIS area, is one of the steps taken in connection with the transition to the 4th Industrial Revolution. Solar panels are installed above the depot.
