November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The package of the proposed amendments to the Tax Code has already been submitted to Milli Majlis. 

ABC.AZ reports that one of the proposed amendments to the Tax Code on the reduction of the tax burden of business entities and stimulation of entrepreneurial activity relates to the application of tax incentives for the import and sale of books, textbooks and stationery. 

Thus, according to the amendments, VAT exemption is envisaged for the import and sale of books (with the exception of e-books), sets of textbooks, paper in the form of rolls or sheets related to the production of these goods (products), as well as editorial, publishing and printing activities (with the exception of advertising services) related to the production of these products.
