November 30, Fineko/abc.az. Some auxiliary installations will be put into operation at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery in the near future. The preparatory work has already begun in this regard.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Ibrahim Akhmedov, deputy head of the Public Relations & Event Organization Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). 

He noted that at the next stage – in 2022 – a diesel cleaning plant will be put into operation: "In mid-2022 it is planned to start production of diesel fuel in Azerbaijan that meets Euro-5 standards. After that, the quality of the produced gasoline will gradually increase, as other installations will be gradually put into operation within one year. In the middle of 2023 the quality of gasoline will fully comply with Euro-5 standards."
