December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Work has begun on the establishment of a joint Azerbaijani-Turkish university.

ABC.AZ reports that the creation of a higher educational institution with the consent of two fraternal countries requires serious work. This was stated by Erol Ozvar, the chairman of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey. He noted that this issue takes time.

"We’ll try to resolve this issue in the near future. We’re planning to open a university in Azerbaijan. Cooperation with the most famous universities of Turkey is expected. This will be the first experience in the world. Perhaps there is such a fact in world practice, but I haven’t heard about it. We’ll build this higher educational institution on a new model," Ozvar said.
