Banks with lowered interest income

February 16, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan, seven ones had low initial interest income in 2021 compared with the previous year.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Bank BTB, Premium Bank, Xalq Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank and AFB Bank, Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan, and Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan.

The largest decrease was recorded on AFB Bank (48.9%) and the smallest on Bank BTB (1.7%).

The remaining 17 banks increased their interest income. The highest dynamics was recorded in VTB Bank Azerbaijan (70.2%) and the lowest in Mugan Bank (2.2%).
