Do terminals start charging interests on debit card receipts?

March 31, Fineko/abc.az. No commission was charged through payment terminals from the amount entering debit cards of banks in Azerbaijan. But, allegedly, payment terminals have already begun to charge certain commission from customers during such transactions. In this regard, you can meet protests on social networks.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, Million informs that only when credited to Azer-Turk Bank debit cards, a commission of 0.6% of the amount is charged. It was noted that the interest is charged by the Million system and is determined on the basis of an agreement with the bank.

The Marketing & Public Relations Department of eManat noted that such a commission is charged for transactions with debit cards belonging to Azer-Turk Bank: the 1% commission charged from the amount entering Azer-Turk Bank debit cards through the eManat payment system is a commission agreed by the bank. And payments on the loan and credit card will be sent to the bank as before, without charging a commission on the funds paid by the client.
