April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azersu held a meeting with a delegation of Israeli national water company – Mekorot, which is paying a visit to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that at the meeting, Azersu’s deputy chairman Etibar Mammadov noted that our country is closely cooperating with international financial organizations and companies in the implementation of projects for the reconstruction of drinking water and wastewater systems. Reminding that Israeli companies have extensive experience in the application of innovative technologies in the water sector, Mammadov noted that over the past period Azersu specialists have participated in exhibitions and conferences organized in this country, have cooperated with various companies in the field of water technologies.

The sides discussed the use of intelligent technologies in the field of drinking water, desalination of seawater, water loss management and other issues. Confidence was expressed in the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Azersu and Mekorot.
