April 12, Fineko/abc.az. Residents of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, managed by the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones (IZIA), are expanding the geography of exports.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Agency that industrial park’s resident SOCAR Carbamide exported 5,000 tons of carbamide fertilizer to India for the first time.

The SOCAR Carbamide plant, which started its activity in 2019, plays an important role in eliminating our country's dependence on the import of nitrogen fertilizers, meeting the needs of local farmers.

Currently, the products manufactured at the factory under brand Made in Azerbaijan are exported to Brazil, Georgia, Turkey, Moldova, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria and other countries.
