April 28, Fineko/abc.az. Japan Tobacco Corporation, one of the world's largest cigarette manufacturers, does not exclude the option of selling its business in Russia due to the situation around Ukraine and the associated difficulties of doing business.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to TASS that the company released a relevant statement on Thursday.

"In the Russian market, as already announced, new investments and marketing activities have been suspended. However, given the increasingly difficult business conditions and the likelihood of significant obstacles to the stable and sustainable operation of our company, we decided to consider options for managing the tobacco business in the Russian market, including separating the business from the management of JT Group," the company says.
