May 17, Fineko/abc.az. The 182 km Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB), through which Azerbaijani natural gas will be supplied to Bulgaria, is being connected to the national gas transmission network Bulgartransgaz.

ABC.AZ reports that the part of the interconnector from the connection point of the Bulgarian operator with the corresponding shut-off valve is already filled with actual quantities of gas. The construction of the linear part of the IGB has already been completed. In the 1st half of May the pipes were checked along the entire length of the interconnector through an intelligent piston. The linear part has already been registered with the State Agency for Metrological & Technical Supervision of Bulgaria and is preparing to issue an act of primary inspection.
