Director appointed at Fuzuli International Airport

June 17, Fineko/abc.az. A new appointment has been made at the Fuzuli International Airport.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, by a relevant order Zaur Gasimov was appointed the airport’s director.

The construction of the airport began after the end of the Patriotic War. Its foundation was laid on 14 January 2021. The airport received international status on 16 October 2021, and its official opening took place on 26 October. The opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
