European Commission president’s publication on Azerbaijan

July 18, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev met with European Commission’s president Ursula von der Leyen.

ABC.AZ reports that European Commission’s president wrote about the details of the meeting on her Twitter account.

She noted that she arrived in Azerbaijan to sign a new agreement.

Ursula von der Leyen stressed that the goal is to double gas supplies from Azerbaijan to the EU within a few years:

"Azerbaijan will become our key partner on the way to security of supply and climate neutrality."
