Azerbaijan to hold radio frequency auctions

December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Auctions for radio frequencies will be held in Azerbaijan.

Minister of Transport, Communications & High Technologies of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade has stated that according to the Strategic Roadmap on Telecommunications and Information Services, it is planned to allot until 2020 the frequency range of 700-800 MHz for LTE services.

"Currently, technical preparation for this process is underway, and a package of proposals for holding auctions for radio frequencies in accordance with international practice is also being developed," the minister said.
