Azerspace-1 satellite to be used for 9 years


January 11, Fineko/ Azerspace-1 will continue its activity for another 9 years.

To date, Azerspace-1 satellite has justified 80% of investments.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Azerbaijan Space Agency’s chairman Sameddin Asadov.

According to Asadov, the satellite will continue its activities in the next 9 years: "$230 million was invested in the first satellite. The service life of the satellite is 17 years, eight of which have already been left behind. We will use the services of this satellite in the next 9 years."
