New automobile sales in EU countries grew for November

December 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA), sales of new automobiles in the European Union (EU) for November increased by 16.3% up to 829,527 motor vehicles in annual terms.

ABC.AZ reports that sales also increased markedly in the largest markets: in Germany, this figure grew by 31.4%, in France by 9.8%, in Italy by 14.7%, in Spain by 10.3%, reports.

Since early 2022, sales in the EU have fallen by 6.1% (versus November 2021) to 8.359 million cars. The decrease was 2.4% in Germany, 8.7% in France, 11.6% in Italy and 4.4% in Spain.

According to the Association, sales of Volkswagen Group cars in Europe in November fell by 36.4% against November 2021, Stellantis (former Fiat and PSA) by 1.1%, and Renault Group by 2.1%.
