December 29, Fineko/abc.az. Appropriate changes will be made to the operating mode of the Baku Metro on December 31 - the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day and the day of celebration of the New Year, Baku Metro’s spokesman Bakhtiar Mammadov said.

In this regard, the interval between trains running from 9:00 to 21:00 on the Azi Aslanov-May 28 metro section will be 2.5 minutes, and from January 1 to January 4, 2023 - 3 minutes.

He noted that on the night of January 1, 2023, the working hours of the Baku Metro will be extended by 1 hour: “On January 1, all stations will be open to passengers until 01:00. Trains will run along the lines until the last passengers leave the metro stations."
