February 21, Fineko/abc.az. Ferrari’s new supercar, equipped with a hybrid power plant, will be presented in 2019.

The statement was announced by Italian brand’s head Louis Camilleri.

The novelty will be the second hybrid in the history of Ferrari. The first one was model LaFerrari introduced in 2013. Ferrari LaFerrari car and its open version Aperta are equipped with a 963-strong hybrid installation, which includes a 6.3-liter V12 engine, an electric unit, a set of lithium batteries and a seven-stage "robot" with two clutches. Ferrari LaFerrari is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in three seconds, and its maximum speed is limited to 350 km/h.

In about 3 years Ferrari will present its first crossover, which is still known as Purosangue. The model will be designed to compete with Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga. In addition, after 2022 Ferrari should have the first fully electric supercar.
