June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Payment of compensations, relating to the solution of problem dollar loans to individuals have been successfully completed.

Financial Market Supervision Chamber informs that on 31 May 2019 the compensation payments were carried out on 95.5% of citizens that makes up 91.4% of the total allocated amount.

The payments were made at the expense of six tranches allocated by the Ministry of Finance for a total amount of AZN 600.1 million.

These funds were directed for overdue loans to 562,000 individuals in the amount of AZN 288.8 million, and AZN 311.3 million were transferred to customers.

In total, banks and non-bank credit organizations liquidated about AZN 107 million of interest and repayable loans on the loans of more than 126,000, and this process is ongoing.

In addition, 42,000 loans of borrowers were closed fully. With the beginning of the process of restructuring, loans of borrowers in the amount of AZN 10 million were restructured on preferential terms, and this process will continue until the end of this year.
