September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Ministry of Economy held a business forum in the Surakhani region.

Speaking at the forum, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov said that over the past period of this year, entrepreneurs received AZN 105 million of soft loans to finance 801 investment projects. Over the past period of the current year, the bulk of loans issued - 97% was allocated to finance small and medium-sized business projects with small and medium-sized loans.

Within the framework of the forum, entrepreneurs working in Baku villages received preferential loans worth AZN 1.2 million. Loans will be directed to the development of areas such as animal husbandry, gardening, bread, packaging, furniture manufacturing, etc., and the implementation of investment projects will open up more than 60 jobs.
