Fitch Ratings estimate: Azerbaijan is first in South Caucasus

October 4, Fineko/abc.az. International rating agency Fitch Ratings regularly analyzes the current situation in the economy, on the basis of which it makes reports. 

Thus, in the next report for the 3rd quarter of 2019, which assessed 22 countries of Eastern Europe and ex-Soviet Union, Azerbaijan kept its positive position and demonstrated stable pace of development with assessment of BB+, says the Financial Market Supervision Authority (Fimsa).

ABC.AZ informs that according to Fitch’s report, the highest rating among the countries of the South Caucasus belongs to Azerbaijan.
According to the Agency's analysis, the maintenance of the external balance in international economic and trade relations and the low level of public debt are the main factors characterizing the rating of Azerbaijan.
