June 17, Fineko/abc.az. A business delegation of German companies will visit Azerbaijan on November 23-27.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to APA that the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaycan) stated that the business meetings to be organized within the framework of cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Economy & Energy of Germany, the German Engineering Union and company Commit Project Partners GmbH will touch upon cooperation in the oil and gas industry and mechanical engineering.

AHK Azerbaycan noted that although Germany ranks the 4th most important trade partner of Azerbaijan, German products have a great reputation in the country. Thus, in 2018 automobiles made up 32.6% of Germany's total exports to Azerbaijan, and transport vehicles and spare parts 23.4%. The total cost of exporting cars was brought up to EUR 110 million. Only a quarter of the machinery imported in Azerbaijan belongs to the sector of factories of construction and building materials, and 13.4% belongs to the food and packaging industry sector.
