January 12, Fineko/abc.az. WhatsApp has made a statement putting an end to the recent allegations.

ABC reports that the administration of WhatsApp messenger clarified on Monday that its new privacy policy does not allow Facebook, which owns the messenger, to access the correspondence and contact lists of users.

So, it is claimed that WhatsApp does not see private messages and does not listen to calls, like Facebook.

"WhatsApp does not keep a record of who to whom writes and calls. WhatsApp doesn't share your contact lists with Facebook. Group chats on WhatsApp remain private," the message reads.
