Economy Minister: Azerbaijan's nominal GDP exceeds AZN 90 bn

January 19, Fineko/abc.az. Nominal GDP in Azerbaijan has reached AZN 93 bn (AZN 11 bn more versus 2019).

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov wrote about this on his Twitter page.

He noted that although GDP declined in 2020 for the pandemic, last year this indicator not only recovered compared to 2019, but also increased.

Jabbarov tweeted that in the context of the ongoing pandemic, an important achievement is that in post-war 2021, the GDP growth rate in the non-oil sector exceeded 7%.

The last time this figure reached 7%, in 2014.
