May 15, Fineko/abc.az. The number of flights between Azerbaijan and Turkey may increase three-fold.

The State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technologies reports that the two countries’ delegations exchanged proposals on the occasion and drafted a relevant protocol on 24 April at the International Aviation Conference in Turkey.

"Both states’ aviation authorities are currently studying the conditions for liberalization of air services. The final decision and signing of the protocol may take place in the near future, after bilateral consultations between the civil aviation authorities of Azerbaijan and Turkey with participation of their national airlines," the Agency said.
