Azerbaijan raised $813.1 million of foreign investments to non-oil sector for 2017

April 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan attracted foreign investments for $5.7 bn for the past year.

According to Central Bank’s report on the balance of payments, the share of investments in the oil sector made up 86%. Growth of financial obligations on oil and gas sector up to $2.08 bn was formed due to the difference of raised investments in the amount of $4.9 bn and repatriation of capital in the amount of $2.82 bn.

According to estimates, total amount of investments attracted in the non-oil sector amounted to $813.1 million in 2017.
