April 25, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Stock Exchange's turnover for Jan-Mar 2018 increased by 2.78 times versus Q1 of 2017.

The BSE reports that for the past three months of 2018 its turnover amounted to AZN 5.58 bn on 26,837 transactions against 2.007 bn on 17,482 transactions for Jan-Mar 2017.

AZN 2.556 bn or 45.8% of BSE’s turnover accounted for the share of derivatives. The figure is by 2.68 times higher than last year’s index.

Volume of transactions on government securities grew by 9.2 times up to AZN 2.608 bn.  Deals on shares decreased by 90.65% to AZN 56.098 million, while deals on bonds by 11.6% to AZN 146.197 million. Transactions on REPO operations increased by 47.42% up to AZN 214.855 million.
