May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The consumer price index in Azerbaijan for Jan-Apr 2020 made up 3% compared with the 2019 same term.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Central Bank’s chairman Elman Rustamov at a press conference.

He noted that this indicator is below the set target, and the CBA expects this figure to remain until the end of the year. CBA chair noted that the structure he heads is trying to take a balanced position in the direction of supporting various sectors of the economy: "This year the loan portfolio in Azerbaijan increased by 1.9%. There was observed an increase of 4.1% on business loans and a decrease of 4.1% on consumer loans, including 5.2% on mortgage loans.”
