June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Apple has made a decision to stop using Intel processors in its Mac series computers.

The announcement was made by Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Thus, the partnership between Apple and Intel, which has lasted for 15 years, will end. It was noted that from now on, Apple will use its own processors on its computers.

"When we make fundamental changes, we do it for a simple but important reason: to produce a better product," Cook emphasized.

It is expected that the first Mac computers equipped with Apple's own processors will go on sale before the end of this year. Apple believes that the new processors will improve the performance of computers with less power consumption. The company plans to complete the transition within two years.
